Hosting and gathering is unique this season. We have altered how we socialize, postponed major life events, and canceled vacations. With all this change and uncertainty, it is more important now than ever to make our homes a summer retreat.

Mostess is an independently-owned, female led company. The COVID-19 crises severely impacted our supply chains and ability to safely sample and procure quality products. We came close to temporarily closing our business. However, in May, we decided pivot our business model, including how we source and purchase. We made the decision to only source from small American businesses, alongside our trusted large vendors who could supply our needs the quickest and safest to meet our operation deadlines.

The result? A curated collection sourced from a new mosaic of business partners. I'm proud to announce that almost all our Summer Home Box and Summer Collection pieces are from small and independently owned American businesses, including: Wildwood Grilling, Liber & Company, Skeem Design, Prepara, and 8 Oak Lane. We were honored to work alongside these partners during a time when businesses were temporarily (and some permanently) closing their doors.
