Lavender Lemon Icing

Today I am sharing an effortless way to bring a homemade twist using Lavender Lemon Syrup and three other items from our 2017 Spring Box. 

This icing is divine on sugar cookies and sprinkled with lemon zest! Recipe and styling inspiration below!

Homemade Lavender Lemon Icing

8 oz cream cheese 2 cups powdered sugar 6-10 tbps. Royal Rose Lavender Lemon Syrup Optional: Lemon Zest or Bee Local Honey Stick

In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese and powdered sugar until texture is smooth. Slowly add in syrup. Add more or less syrup to taste. Ice baked goods and finish with fresh lemon zest or drizzle with a honey stick.

I searched far and wide for a high quality simple syrup for our Celebrate Spring Box - and I found it with Royal Rose Syrups.  Not only do they make a high quality product (it is USDA certified organic), but the syrup can be used in tea, coffee, and baking!

This coveted syrup quickly became my favorite flavor profile for Spring. Better yet – using it to make delicious Lavender Lemon Icing has become my new must have for any baked good. 

We mixed up a batch and styled a few photos at our temporary “test kitchen" inside the stunning model home from OnPoint Custom Homes!
